Animation journal: Gạo’s house

Gạo’s house is the home of a little girl living in Linh World. Later on, the girl accidentally got…. Well, it would not be interesting if we spill the good parts here, right?

Why do we mention Gạo’s house? Because a lot hard work was spent in drawing this house exactly as our Director’s intention. Her house is very large, but she lives alone with her grandmother. The old house is located in an alley in Saigon and was built a long time ago, in the 1990s. In front of the house is a large yard with a big shade tree.

Not this house, guys. This house is more like in the countryside far from Saigon.

This Gạo’s house is even more unfit because it looks too luxurious. To understand the spirit of Gạo’s house was very demanding. This is just one of many ideas that were not approved.

We started all over again by getting to know more about the setting and where the story begins. This is one of the alleys leading to the Gạo’s house. We even drafted a layout plan for a corner of the neighborhood where Gạo lives.

And finally we have successfully built this house - a home just for Gạo and a familiar but very rare living space in Saigon.

Gạo will have a long “journey” ahead to be in the movie. Please look forward to her.
